Resiliency. Courage. Community. Ken Monteith's perfect storm for change at the dawn of AIDS 2022.
It takes a potent mix of determination and resiliency to inspire the tangible change that impacts lives of people living with HIV, for the better.
Host, James Watson sits with Ken Monteith, one of the most engaged, inspired leaders in Canada's HIV community. As Executive Director of COCQ-SIDA (Coalition of Quebec Community Organizations in the Fight Against AIDS) Ken also serves on the organizing committee of AIDS 2022, the 24th International AIDS conference taking place in Montreal July 29 – Aug. 2, 2022.
Together, James and Ken romp through a wide range of topics from Ken’s training as a lawyer and his dynamic work with COCQ-SIDA to the issues raised in his blog, Talk to the Hump… the ravings of a gay man living with HIV and Lipodystrophy. And of course, organizing oneself for AIDS 2022.
